Happy New Year–the Liturgical Year 7529

Today is New Year’s Eve for the Byzantine liturgical year. On Sept. 1st we enter the year 7529 in Byzantine reckoning. Let us pray that the new liturgical year will be great and HOLY.

The New Liturgical Year is an important annual observance for us as we continue to make the journey through salvation history as it unfolds in the feasts and fast of the Church –living the Liturgy.
