Tonight, there is a lecture being presented by Melkite Father Hezekias: “Encountering Christ: Mystagogy and the Life of the Church.”
“Mystagogy” may seem like a mouthful, but it is a simple concept at the heart of the Church’s life: the Church leading her members deeper into the mystery of Christ.
As Christians, we have been baptized “into Christ,” but do we really understand what that means?
For this special event, Father Hezekias will be joined by Amy Giuliano, an art historian who is also the Institute of Catholic Culture digital media specialist. Amy has collected some beautiful examples of the Church’s art and architecture to accompany this presentation and help us live the reality of our baptism today. You won’t want to miss it!
You can join Father Hezekias early for a pre-class discussion at 7:30 pm ET, and a special announcement. Father Hezekias’s lecture will begin at 8:00 pm ET.
Registration is required here.
