Sunday of the Samaritan Woman

May 2, 2021 #Sergei Bulgakov, #Sr. Vassa, #Sunday of the Samaritan Woman

Christ is risen!

Today, May 2, we commemorate the biblical narrative of the Samaritan Woman.

In his Manual for Church Servers, the Russian theologian Sergei Bulgakov has an interesting reflection on the Samaritan Woman who witness to “Divine glory.”

For a contemporary reflection on the Samaritan Woman you can listen to Sister Vassa’s “take” on this Gospel.
